DC Power Systems

Alpha® DC power systems range from small, shelf-based systems to large, multi-bay systems that power an entire central office or mobile switching center. For Remote Line Power (RLP), the -48VDC source required at the central site is normally provided by a shelf or rack-mount system. Two leading solutions are the Alpha 48VDC Cordex® HP 1.2kW 2RU system, which provides up to 100A of current, and the Alpha 48VDC CXPS-E3, which can supply up to 400A.

High-efficiency Cordex rectifiers and our CXC HP controller platform are essential building blocks for EnerSys® DC power solutions. For RLP applications, the controller enables remote power on/power off for remote small cells, lowering the operational expenses by minimizing truck rolls.
